Snow and Rain Likely in Nepal From Oct 28 to Nov 1, Weather Office Warns

KATHMANDU- The Meteorological Forecasting Division has said the weather in Nepal will remain normal for the next three days.

However, it has asked people to take precautions, as snowfall along with rain is likely in Nepal from next Wednesday (October 28) to Sunday (November 1).

Issuing its weather forecast bulletin on Saturday morning, the division said: “Although the weather appears to remain normal for the next three days, there is a possibility of snow and rain from next Wednesday (October 28) to Sunday (November 1). Please take precautions.”

The division said a low-pressure area has developed in the east-central and adjoining southeastern Bay of Bengal. Because of it, Nepal’s weather may be affected from Wednesday (October 28) to Sunday (November 1).
