Govt Forms 4-Member Team to Talk to Agitating Dr KC

KATHMANDU- The government has formed a 4-member team to hold a dialogue with Prof Dr Govind KC, who is in agitation with the demand of reform in medical education.

The talk team is coordinated by joint secretary at THE Ministry of Education and Sports, Jayram Adhikari. The members in the team are representatives from THE Ministry of Health and Food Safety, the Ministry of Education and the Medical Education Commission.

The Education Ministry said government is sensitive and serious towards Dr KC’s demand. All sides concerned are urged to seek solution through dialogue, the Ministry added.
