KATHMANDU : Prime Minister Balen Shah is expected to make an official visit to India on November 23, with preparations underway for his arrival in New Delhi, according to a senior government source.
The governments of Nepal and India have yet to formally announce the visit date.
Indian media outlets had previously reported that Shah could visit India from November 23 to 25.
Indian news outlet Aaj Tak reported that the visit had been proposed for November 23 to 25.
According to Aaj Tak, the proposed visit is likely to prioritize expanding railway and other transport connectivity between the two countries, energy, trade, infrastructure development and post-flood reconstruction.
