KATHMANDU – Actress Priyanka Chopra and singer Zayn Malik have said 10,000 children in Nepal are in urgent need of humanitarian assistance.
The two global stars made the appeal in posts sharing a UNICEF message accompanied by a photograph of the Bhote Koshi flood.
“Devastating floods in Nepal: 10,000 children urgently need humanitarian assistance,” the UNICEF message shared by Chopra and Malik said.
They also posted photographs showing the loss of life and property in Rasuwa and Nuwakot on Wednesday.
Chopra is a prominent Bollywood and Hollywood actress, while Malik is a former member of the globally renowned music group One Direction. Popular among young people in Nepal, Malik has recently been making music independently.
