Gunmen Open Fire on Tiger Shroff’s BMW in Juhu; Actor Unhurt, Driver Hospitalised

MUMBAI – Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff had a narrow escape on Sunday after unidentified assailants fired at his car in Mumbai’s Juhu area as he was heading home from a football session, according to police sources.

Shroff was not injured, but his driver was rushed to Nanavati Hospital. Sources told India Today that three bullets struck the actor’s BMW.

Confirming his well-being, a spokesperson for Shroff’s father, veteran actor Jackie Shroff, said the family had assured that the actor was fine. Deputy Commissioner of Police Mohit Garg also stated that the actor had sustained no bullet injuries.

Following the incident, police sealed off the location and set up 12 special teams to trace the shooters.

Meanwhile, a social media post carrying the name of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang surfaced, in which two foreign-based gangsters, Anil Pandit and Harman Sandhu, took credit for the attack. Police have not yet verified the claim.

Maharashtra’s Cultural Affairs Minister Ashish Shelar contacted Shroff’s family to enquire about the actor’s safety. Police said the investigation is continuing.
