Anmol KC and Princy Khatiwada Share Romantic Chemistry in ‘Batulo Joon’ Song

KATHMANDU – The makers of ‘Batulo Joon’, which is preparing for release on November 12, have released a dance number titled “Allare Thito Aayo.”

The song, featuring actor Anmol KC, was released on the occasion of Kojagrat Purnima. The music video also features debut actress Princy Khatiwada alongside Anmol.

Set against the backdrop of traditional Nepali society, the video portrays a romantic pairing between the two actors, with playful exchanges and musical banter.

The makers said the song was released with the approaching Tihar festival in mind, particularly the festive tradition of Deusi-Bhailo.

Rubai and Prabin Beduwal have provided the vocals. Rup Mahanta handled the music production, mixing and mastering. The song incorporates traditional Panche Baja instruments alongside the sarangi, guitar and flute.

Directed by Bhuwan KC and produced under the banner of Sunrise Pictures Pvt. Ltd., Batulo Joon is a romantic drama set in the Nepali social environment of the 1930s and 1940s, according to the film’s production team.

The makers say the film seeks to portray the social conditions, lifestyles and courtship traditions of that period through a story centred on ideal love.

KC has described ‘Batulo Joon’ as more than a period love story, saying it is also connected to his own cinematic journey. KC, a popular actor of his time, also appears in a significant role in the film.

The screenplay was written collaboratively by Samipyaraj Timalsena and Sarin Pokharel. Rajesh Shrestha is the cinematographer, Krishna Bhandari the editor, and Roman Bajracharya has composed the background score. Pradip Shrestha serves as associate director.

The film is produced by Jiya KC and Bhawishya Khadka, with Bibek Thapa as co-producer.

Actress Garima Panta is also returning to acting after a long hiatus through the film.
