KATHMANDU: Actors Bipana Thapa, Barsha Raut and Mahesh Tripathi have begun shooting for the upcoming Nepali film ‘Bakas’ in Dhampus, a tourist village in Kaski district.
The film also features Bhola Raj Sapkota, Hiunwala Gautam, Dhruv Gautam, Pushkar Raut, Bikram Budhathoki, Rohit Shrestha, Bimal Yadav, Supala Sapkota, Sanaz Chaulagain, Abiral Chaulagain, Rekha Bhandari and Sagun Khadka.
Mani Tamang is the chief assistant director, while Sawan Sharma, Sirjana Bhujel and Manish Chaulagain are serving as assistant directors. Kiran Dahal is responsible for action choreography.
The film’s music is being handled by Deepak Sharma and Sanam Purush Rai. Dhirendra Pant is the executive producer, while Sujita Chaulagai is the producer. Rajan Singh KC and Chhatra Bahadur Khadka are co-producers.
Mahesh Poudel is the cinematographer. Nirmal Neupane is the production manager, while Jyoti KC and Nirajan Ghimire are responsible for costume design. Siyon Shrestha is the choreographer.
Written and directed by Nabin Pant, Bakas is being produced under the banner of PK Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.
