KATHMANDU – All matches of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) have received recognition from the International Cricket Council (ICC).
The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) announced this in a statement. “All matches of the tournament, to be held from October 26 to November 21, 2026, at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, have received official recognition as List A T20,” the statement said.
The ICC had recognised the NPL last Friday. Official information about the “List A status” came only on Wednesday.
CAN said it believes the recognition will further contribute to the development, professionalism and international identity of Nepali cricket.
